Photography is Awesome – JZ

I am often found in a rather excited state, and fortunately, it tends to be good excitement. Keeping that in mind, you can imagine my delight at passing the final CFA exam, acquiring a new gadget, and meeting a fantastic new person all in the span of two days. With this elation, I hurried home from Best Buy, reflecting on the indelible interaction that just transpired. It was an effortless conversation with a complete stranger, whose incidental participation during my camera purchase would turn out to be anything but inconsequential. Little more than 12 hours later, I sent her this:

Erin,
I enjoyed our “organic meetup” yesterday. Hopefully your evening was
not derailed by the extra time at the local best buy. I took my first
pictures last night and can’t wait to take more everyday. I totally
brought my camera to work. Let me know when you want to teach me how
to be a photographer this weekend. I will see how much I can
read/learn before then.
